Now, I think that beats any range report I've read yet. Thanks,

Rick

Fired my department's BUG course with the R9S today.  25 rounds total, 5 standing from 15 yards, 10 kneeling from 7 yards, and 10 lying on your back at 5 yards.  Scoring target was the "Q-target".  Score was 100%, and was the tightest group of any BUG.

100% and the tightest group! Congratulations!! Or as one of my old Air Defense Artillery friends might say, "Holy Oozlefinch, Batman!"

Thanks for setting the standard for the rest of us R9 owners!   8)

The Oozlefinch looks like a well armed "Road Runner;" look out, "Wile
E. Coyote."

The Oozlefinch is indeed a strange and mysterious bird -- due, perhaps, to frequent exposure to missile fuel.   ;)

I think it is the state bird of New Jersey.

Correct; but I never grow tired of "dissing" my native state in which CCW does not exist. I escaped to northern New England 3 years ago, FINALLY got to find out what is meant by concealed carry and am now legally entitled to carry in 21 states.

In fairness to NJ, two other vehemently anti-gun states (Illinois and New York) are giving NJ a run for its money as to political corruption.

No you don't unless (GULP) you actually live in the people's republic of New Jersey!

Had some relatives that lived there; an aunt, uncle, and 2 first cousins.  Heard some of their experiences while living there for 30 years.

Hearing about experiences in NJ is far preferable to living through it for 30 years, which is what I did.

I will never again live in a state that prohibits legal carry. Uh uh. I would rather eat oozlefinch raw.

I went to the range amidst showers, and shot the heck out of my Stealth.

50 rounds Speer Gold Dot 115 gr
30 rounds Speer Gold Dot 147 gr
12 rounds Federal Hi Shok 115 gr
36 rounds Winchester Silvertip 115 gr

With the exception of 6 rounds I let a guy at the range shoot, I shot them all myself.  No discomfort today, barely any hand tremble when I got done.

It absolutely loves Speer Gold Dot.  It absolutely despises the Federal (no surprise, others have said the same).  It does so-so with the Silvertip.  No failure to feed or eject, only problems were having to pull the trigger twice on the Federals.

Of course I had to flub it up, I had a spectacular group going from 15 yards with 147 Gold Dots, did 18 rounds, of course the 18th round was what happened there?
