Here is what I used to get the screws out. Purchased from Home Depot. Instead of tapping it in after the pre drill, I drilled it in counterclockwise and it finally caught the screw. I worked up a good sweat, but it was well worth it! Thanks for the help!

Well, it's good you got the screws out and didn't have to send it back to the factory and also that you had the new screws; all worked out.  Excellent.

Just curious about the lock tight recommendation.  I noticed that some on this thread suggested the low adhesion forumula.  But, speaking with Maria today she said "be sure to use the medium lock tight formulation".  I'm curious what folks on the forum have used.
