Fortunately, both my R9s have carbon fiber grips. However, I am encouraged that the factory is returning to cf, whatever the cost. Ok; that's a little foolish to say but anything beats G10.

Maroon carbon fiber? On my one tone Robar R9? Sounds good. Meanwhile, I would like to thank those of you who are behaving impatiently on this string. Kind of takes the heat off me for all my complaints about the R45.

Richard.  I sure wished I were here back in the good ole days!  One of those Farmingdale's would have definitely been in my pocket today.  Oh well,  we all have to want for something.  The want is just not as intense, now.
