Title: loose screw
Post by: 08055 on August 28, 2011, 03:43:39 AM
While cleaning the R9,  I noticed that the left grip panel is loose.    What do you use to tighten the screws  on the grip panel?
Thanks.

Any good quality 1/16" allen driver or wrench will do. :D
To prevent this from happening you can remove the screws, clean the screw threads and threaded hole on the frame and apply a very small amount of nail polish (use a pin or toothpick tip to apply) or you can use a dab of BLUE (242) lactate brand thread locker. Use very sparingly.
The Blue denotes it is removable.

Here's a good quality 1/16" by Wiha from Amazon.com that works really good.
