Sold my R9, Question.
« on: February 09, 2010, 12:16:54 AM »
Years ago we all talked about the skateboard tape and how it helped with the grip.
I have always liked the feel. Once installed, I never had an issue.
The almost new owner questioned me about it, I had no answer, so I thought I'd ask you guys that know.
How do we take that tape off/
Never gave it much of a thought, but the frame is alloy and coated, it isn't Stainless Steel like my Seecamp.

Is there a trick, or will it just peel off with no problems?

Thanks.

I have taken it off and reinstalled it several times with a very critical eye for adverse effects; it is not an issue, in my opinion.

I did the front and back and LOVE the tape.  The new owner should run with it for a while.

I agree as I like it there. It makes for a great grip, very little slippage.

Me, too, except I also did the sides of the grips.
