Frame gouging Question
« on: September 29, 2010, 07:49:35 PM »
Hey guys,

I have about 475 rounds through the pup now, and I was noticing a gouging in the front "horseshoe" if you will section of the frame under where the guide rod assembly is.  It is caused by the slide.

Anyone have this?

I am not under lubung.

Some pics would help everyone fully understand the problem.

The material at this link may be of interest:

Frame wear is self-limiting, with more than one R9 reported as having run through more than 5,000 rounds.

Very good explanation and eye_spy, yours should not be a problem.
