Having a gun in your hand is much more effective than having the entire police department on the phone!

Gunbroker or something similar would probably be your best bet for that. I doubt anyone here has a New R9S considering we are not dealers.

I've already heard from 2 members here on the Forum. So, we'll see. I decided to form a small collection of R9's to hold onto. I have a new R9S Stealth, a new R9S Stealth Elite, a new R380 Stealth, and a R9S Stealth with minimal use for carry. I plan to buy a R9S next.

Wow, I cannot imagine having a gun in my safe I had not fired. I have some things in there I have not fired in 25 years, but I definitely fired them.
I guess there are different kinds of collectors, my collection is too eclectic to buy too many of unfired same brand guns. Among my guns in the safe I have (4) nighthawks but they are all very different guns and all have been fired.
Only have one Rohrbaugh it has been fired as well.

Would be nice if we could tell. My kids don't want me to sell anything in my safe, but I think they are waiting for Dad to kick the proverbial bucket so it is all theirs  :)

I must say though that of the guns in there that really increased in Value, I would say the Nighthawk Customs  have been the best. They are up on average 50%.
And my Python has more then doubled in value. It would be nice if my little Rohrbaugh reached those levels.  8)  (Just need to keep my eye on the Kids !)

I have a brand new never fired R9s I purchased the day after the news broke on them selling out to Remington, a week prior i sold my carry R9S to my buddy pre-news. So i jumped on it and pit it in my safe. I bought another one to use as my carry a month or so after. I will sell it for $2000 + shipping. It's a collector piece and really wasn't planning on selling it for years.
