Truglo sights
« on: April 17, 2006, 05:59:32 PM »
Anyone try some of these?  I've ordered a 5" XD in 45ACP, to carry instead of my Pro Carry II.  I'm thinking about putting some truglo sights on it -- according to their website their a combination of tritium and fiber optic.

Thanks

I can only comment Brad on the SIG night sights which I believe are in this category - they are quite impressive.

Until I actually looked properly in the dark I had not realized how good they looked - but at night when I look down on floor where the SIG resides - there is this subtle green glow and bringing gun up gives a superb sight picture.

Mine are tritium mainly I think so no obvious daytime light gathering but - certainly for me good to have, along with my CT's.

I like the Trijicon night sights I have on my Kimber at night -- but A) I'm too blind w.o. glasses/contacts to use them, B) I'm hoping the fiber optics might be a bit more visible in the day -- that IDPA meet really opened my eyes to the importance of sights, and having enough ammo.
