Shot Show 2013
« on: January 17, 2013, 10:23:30 AM »
Maybe it is just me, but this is the most uneventful Shot Show in recent memory.  What do the rest of you think?

I did find this interesting even though I would not want one.  Heizer who was to make the Double Tap until it had a falling out with the inventor has a pistol of there own.  Scroll down in this link.

I agree with you Bob.  I had two of my wish list items end up not appearing at SHOT.

I put this up on Jan 4th about the other double tap.  http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com/2013/01/dont-mess-with-ray.html  Ray is well aware of what Heizer is up to since the split and it looks like he's getting paid from both sides if the lawsuit sticks.  Single shot?  Seriously?  I think Ray has the better product of the two.   ;)

Agreed -- so far.

For instance, that 10" DE for hunters. I own a DE-50, value it highly, and am a great admirer of the DE line of pistols. However, that 10" version is, to my eyes, as ugly as homemade sin. That is not to say, of course, that I would want to be down range in its sights. Perhaps it just proves the old adage that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
