Folks,

Let us not forget the brave men that fought and those that gave their lives on the beaches of Normandy, France.

Bless em all I say - from every allied country - so many lost - so many injured in what was still probably the greatest invasion the earth has ever seen.

My dad - in the Brit tank Corps, missed that day due to injury - and lost most all his close buddies in his regiment.  I recall how guilty he always said he felt.

I wish young folks would take time out more often, to just remember and respect those who went before with sacrifice - because it is they who enabled the world and way of life we now live in.
