Excellent idea!  I've added my name to CT list.  Let's put the pressure on them and leave the Rohrbaughs to making the best small pistols on the planet.

Request sent. I wonder how many requests would have to be sent to get them moving on this?    Gene

While at the SHOT Show, I heard that Crimson Trace was going ahead with laser grips for the Rohrbaughs.

Being that I didn't hear it straight from the CT people, I'm going to consider it no more than a rumor.  Can't hurt to continue making requests!

Just got off the phone after a positive conversation with Travis at Crimson Trace. Their per/model RD costs run from 150K up to 7 figures, depending on many circumstances. Some of these, like slide release, ejection port and trigger safety placement, would of course not be applicable to the Pup, but as stated in above posts there are other concerns that can certainly affect the final design.  I mentioned to him that both the R9 and 380 currently use interchangeable grips, but don't yet know if the hoped-for R45 will or not.
In short, he inferred that if CT gets somewhere in the vicinity of 3500 or more requests for Pup laser grips (on the link also posted above in this thread) they will take the collective interest very seriously, and production in the not-too-distant future could become a reality. If all Pup owners who read this take the thirty seconds to ping them I bet we could get these guys to light us up. IMHO this would be a  very cool option/upgrade to the pup, even though I've already modified my stealth with night sights. I would buy CT laser grips in a heartbeat, nonetheless.

I ask you, how cool would it be to laser up your Pup?

I inquired about this as well. Would be a great addition to the R9/380
Is that a 9mm in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

I have five different email addresses and have used all of them twice. In case they use this info to screen repeat requests. It occurs to me if even only the members of this forum submitted only 5 unique requests that that alone  would seem to satisfy CT's 3500-count rule of thumb for starting production. My guess is that if laser grips were available, most future buyers of the R9 /R 380 would very likely consider and many would buy laser grips for their pups. Win win.

I'd be one of the first in line.
