Would like to find a pair of original blue cf grips or even a pair of the tribute blue grips. Let me know if you have some you would sell.
-
. . . . . . and so it begins. . . . . . . "The Search for Blue Carbon Fiber"! Ha haa. . . . . . They're out there and will most likely show up soon for you. Be patient and they will appear somewhere on the internet for sale.

Thank you! Excited to have a pre-R

So, do we have any photographs of the rare Pre-R S.N. R9 yet Corey? There were only about 48 of those along with a handful of special S.N. none R- pistols made.

Not yet but I'll post some early next week when I have it in my hands!

A slight hijack here: Anybody (Eric) know how many “Special Forces” models were made? Also how did they differ from the Stealth?
-
At this point backupr9. . . . . . Almost ten years out from the sale of the company to Remington Arms in 2014?
I can say there were not many of those Special Forces R9s built, good Sir.
I'd have to guesstimate around 15-25 Special Forces maybe, really not sure anymore, I apologize.
The Stealth models we made a bunch of those.
The differences were basically this:
The Stealth:
The Frame, Barrel, and Slide were treated using black nitride. The grip screws, recoil assembly, trigger, extractor, ejector, barrel, and magazines were left bead-blasted stainless steel silver.
The Special Forces:
The Frame, Barrel, Slide, and All external parts including the grip screws, recoil assembly, trigger, extractor, ejector, and barrel, along with the magazine casings and base plates were treated using black nitride.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards,
ECR
