Kydex IWB Holster?
« on: May 23, 2008, 06:46:20 PM »
Hey Guys,

Quick question:  I am the proud owner of a new Stealth and am now in the market for a premium IWB holster.   I have been a big fan of Alessi leather in the past but have purchased my last four holsters from FIST Holsters in NY.  They have an ulta-thin kydex IWB with clip that I like but, frankly, I am not sure the Stealth diamondcote will hold up.  Any thoughts???

Thanks,
Marco  :-/

Kydex is rough on um from what i've seen.  ???
I have never used one but have seen pictures of a R9 that was carried in one and it did have area's in the finish gone.

My vote is for leather also.  Many great leather holsters out there to be had.

I just received long awaited set from RJ Hedley that is magnificent.  I think that his boning is amongst the best in the business.

Check out Matt DelFatti leathers also.  His sewing is second to none.  Period.

I would stay away from Graham leathers.  Terrible customer service from what I read on Seecamp's forum.  Also his boning is very minimal.  Now you don't need to death grip on the gun in the holster but its the attention to detail that also made me pass.

Leather.

Don't forget K & D holsters. He supports the forum.
