Tuckable IWB holsters
« on: June 10, 2008, 03:13:32 PM »
Does anyone know where I can find a tuckable IWB? When I ordered the Super Tuck online from Croosbreed, the owner was nice enough to call and let me know that they did not make one for the R9. Any suggestions?

These guys make a fine one their Versa Max VII, you need to buy the Kydex clips with it.  Long wait time 200 weeks, but well worth the wait.

This guy should be able to make you one, he did one for my P7M8, call him, he answers the phone himself.

This guy should also make it little pricey, but fine, fine leather.

Good luck.

Checkout Palehorse.com
They have several IWB models.
One that looks particularly interesting is the "pop-up" model.

If you plan on ordering a holster from Pale Horse (Ron Graham), you might want to read these threads first....

Similiar threads exist on many other gun forums.

Thanks for your replies. When I hadn't heard anything for a while, I discovered that if I rotate my Thunderware ( similar to Smart Carry) holster to the side, it holds the gun against my torso, allowing a shirt to be tucked in. It may be the perfect solution to a tuckable holster, and there is no buckle or other attatchment to the belt that may be seen and recognized. The Action Carry holster  may be able to be adjusted to work similarly. I don't have one.

No, I don't think there was any reference to 200 weeks.  The only reference to 200 was that that is how many holsters Ron Graham says he makes in a week.

My issue was with listing (by Pale Horse) holsters as IN STOCK was were NOT In Stock....And with NO communication by both Pale Horse and Ron Graham.

When Ron Graham finally did respond to my emails and said he would make my holster.....And then didn't.  At that point I asked for a refund....Still waiting!

High Noon holsters has in stock holsters that fit the R9. Nice quality and  the even stock left hand holsters for immediate delivery. That impressed me. http://www.highnoonholsters.com/index.html

I ordered an H.B.E. http://www.hbeleatherworks.com/  Pro TL Tuckable holster last week.  Eric told me to expect it within two weeks, maybe less.

Benjamin: my H.B.E. Pro TL arrived today, and it's EXACTLY what I hoped to find: thin, offset clip, quality construction, reasonably priced, and  :) warp speed delivery.  It's been right around two weeks since I sent Eric the initial email.  I was so jazzed that I had my wife take a few pics of me in khakis, a tucked-in teeshirt with a #^&**@$ invisible R-9.  Unfortunately, I can't figure-out how to #^&**@$ post them, "but that's not important right now".  The main thing is, it's all good...except a little sadness about that Bulman holster I ordered for my P7M8 eight month ago--which I hope to receive by Christmas.  There are a couple of Eric's holsters I would definitely be interested-in ordering.  Later.
