When (and why?) did people start calling 'em Pups?
« on: August 02, 2006, 11:46:11 PM »
I disappear for a while, then come back and everyone is calling the R9's "pups."  :)

When did that start?  Just here, or did the Rohrbaugh's deem that as a name?

That was started by R9SCarry (Chris) -  It was even before I became a member.   Forget the reason - know I saw it posted somewhere by Chris in the past.

The reason was simple - at some early stage in this board's history I almost without thinking used ''pup'' - much as anything a term of endearment!!!

It seemed to have stuck - but that was all there was to it really :)  Boringly simple explanation!
