Hey guys, I wasn't going to bring it up yet, but since you asked...

I dont mind the investment of time and such, but I have had to enlist the help of a web-savvy friend (TechGuy) and I have monthly hosting fees to pay.

I was hoping to sell some advertising at some point, but I am open to suggestions.

What is the reaction of Karl and Eric Rohrbaugh and the rest of the crowd there?

If they like it, and when the board gets more traffic, maybe sell some golf shirts, stuff like that. Who knows, maybe Rohrbaugh would even kick in some money since this board will have an economic benefit to their business.

Message boards dedicated to a specific product help sell the product. It serves as a micro focus group with respect to the product,  educating the company as to the opinions of their core market.

In time, this board will cause Rohrbaugh to sell more product, and because board members will answer questions, reduce the number of customer service questions that Rohrbaugh has to field.
