DDGator:

Thanks, Eric.  But the forum wouldn't be what it is without your input and insight.  So thank you!

What year was it that we met at the factory?

ECR:
Gosh Duane. . . . . That would be our first facility over in Farmingdale, New York sometime around 2003- 2004? I remember meeting you at the train station from New York City. That was a great time.

It has been a good run Sir. My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done to help promote one of our life's works and to give enthusiasts a place to enjoy comradery, knowledge, and some background history of the Rohrbaugh R9 Series Pistol. To this end we all say here:  Thank You!

Eric R.

ECR:
Some early prototype photographs to enjoy.

PhilZ:
Is that the barrel in the front top of the prototype slides?

ECR:
Yes, Phil, for that first model we were working on a .380 acp, the barrel was fully exposed. That was the prototype for our "Safe Gun" technology pistol that was "hot" or "had government interest" in around the year 2000. This design utilized a neodymium magnet ring to activate the trigger to fire the gun.
