Thx for feedback Musician ..... I had been almost hopping on one leg waiting to see if all was well.  Glad it is.

The FTF was as you say - just an obvious ammo disparity - I wonder what guns WILL digest that reliably!

RE: the Extreme Shock "fang face" Explosive Entry ammo:  Stats on this round indicate it is devastating on flesh targets (mfr says one round killed a 505 lb Russian boar within seconds).  It creates a sphere of tissue destruction about the size of a grapefruit.  But--since it would not feed reliably in the R9S, I elected to use one of these rounds as the first one out the tube in a 6+1 loading; that way I still get one shot of it off but don't have to worry about feed reliability.
