I have what I call my “War Bag” that I keep packed at all times and have with me wherever I go. It’s a lot larger and heavier than the Seal Survival Kit described in the link, being a black 3-Way Deployment Bag with end pouches and outside zippered pockets. It measures about 16”L x 7”W x 8”H. To list its contents starting with the general order of the Seal Kit:

1.   Two Multi Tools – One Mini; One Standard
2.   Army Hand-Held Compass
3.   Three Tactical Flashlights with Two Sets Each of Spare Batteries
4.   Fire Starting Kit and Four Lighters, (Three Bics and One Zippo with Spare Lighter Fluid)
5.   Water Storage Device
6.   Water Purification Tablets
7.   Electrolyte Tablets
8.   Signal Mirror
9.   Thermal Blanket
10.   Paracord (six feet)
11.   Sewing Kit (Black Carpet Thread, Assorted Heavy-duty Needles and Safety Pins)
12.   P-51 Military Can Opener
13.   Fishing Kit (20-lb Nylon Line, Assorted Hooks, and Weights)
14.   Magnifying Glass
15.   Note Paper and Tactical Pen
16.   Duct Tape
17.   First Air Kit (Band-Aids, Surgical Tape, Gauze Pads, Antibiotic Ointment, Benydryl, Aspirin, Super Glue)
18.   Snake Bite Kit
19.   Small Hacksaw
20.   Basic “Dop Kit” (Disposable Razors, Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Floss, Deodorant (Unscented)
21.   Four 12-Hour Snap Lights (Orange)
22.   Small Hatchet
23.   Knives (Hunting/Skinning -1; Tactical – 1; Utility Pocket – 2)
24.   Sharpening Stone
25.   Spare Pistol in Rug (This To Supplement CCW)
26.   Spare Ammunition (50 of .45 ACP; 50 of 9mm; 50 of .380 ACP)
27.   Gun Cleaning Kit (Items in Zip Lock Plastic Bags)
28.   Industrial Strength Velcro Kit
29.   DATREX D2400F Emergency Rations (6)
30.   Acme Thunderer Whistle

You wouldn’t want to hump this bag around for too long, but it’s comforting to grab it, throw it in the back of the car, and go.
