I was Googling around, looking for replacement recoil springs for my walking around one (R5398 on the right) and ran across this forum.

Thought you guys'd like to see the others (101 and SAVE ME 1).

Also, does anyone know where I can get the recoil springs?

Williams Gun Sight is handling parts and warranty work for the Rohrbaugh Pistols.  Ask for Alec.

Also Wollf Gunsprings can supply recoils springs.

Those are Jeff York's alright. At first, Jeff told me he wanted to give it back to us as he never had to pay for it (#101). We gave it to him as a gift for writing our first article. Then, as the years went by Jeff decided he changed his mind and wanted to keep it. . . to which we said ok, fine. . . . but I was sorry it never came to us again. I'm sure it's in good hands at this point as we know Jeff passed away a number of years back now. I still have the first R9 sold to the public however. . . #102. . . . "The Bob Jensen Gun".  Bob was the fellow on The High Road who contacted us and he insisted we put sights on the R9 and, if we didn't, his reply was something to the effect: "Well then, the gun much be inherently inaccurate if you don't want to put sights on it". . . . . That pushed us over the edge and told brother Karl we had to do sights, which we made happen, of course. Good history stuff here guys.

Jeff was my father. I inherited them. If you want them for posterity, we can probably work out a trade. I brought them to the last couple Shot Shows to see if you wanted to swap for them, but you didn't have a booth. I only just found out about the Remington sale as I was looking for recoil springs.

And thanks to everybody for the lead on the recoil springs!

Wow, Jeff was your father. You hold on to those pistols then good Sir. Very special they are. We were so sorry to hear about your father's passing.

Sincere Regards to you and the family,

Someone should post another photo on here to keep this post on the front page of this section IMO.

Hey MRC, would you think about posting your new one here?

This pic section needs to be easy for nonmembers to find I think. Maybe a sticky??
