Dave, this is my favorite thread, one big family. How come you are so busy lately? I thought you had the summer off.
How is your Dad doing? My prayers are still there.

Tom - I have about five weeks off in the summer.

Doctors feel that my dad could not survive an operation given his weak heart so they are going to try and treat his blood infection by medication.  He may be released next week to do the medication IV treatment out of the hospital - we are going to take him to my brothers for awhile since he works from home.  Hope he eventually gets strong enough to go back to his own house.

Have to get up in five hours so better "hit the hay" as we country boys say.

Dave, my prayers are still for your dad. I would have thought that you would have more time off.

Richard,

That's a great ski picture.  Looks like a lot of fun.  You must be very proud.

My daughter and son-in-law bought a Nautique (Correct Craft) ski boat.  They brought it to our place up north last week, and on the way home the trailer broke down.

They just went to get the repaired trailer, with a new axle, so that gave them another chance for a weekend mini-vacation.

Bill
