Like the title states I'm looking for a Smith & Wesson 625-11 if you have one you would consider selling or know someone else who does please let me know.

Yankee2500: I just bought a 629 Performance Center .45. What is the difference between that and the 629-10/11?

I have a 629PC but there 44mag/44spl, all the 625s are 45cal with the 625-10 being 45acp and the 625-11 is 45Colt.

I found an old post on here where Duane sold a 625-10 about seven years ago.

After getting food poisoning 2 days ago, my brain is still mush. I meant to say a 629 Performance Center .44 magnum, not .45.

Sorry to hear that food poisoning is definitely no fun.

I have the 327PC which is an eight shot 357mag it matches the 625-10, I've been watching that one on GBroker and it was delisted a few days ago because the last auction had no bids.

Well I had a guy contact me on another forum that had one but wasn't really looking to sell it, long story short he said he would so as soon as I move and get settled in to the new house I'll have him ship it.

I found this on The High Road forum, it's from August 7, 2004

I took my new S&W 625-10 to the range today to test some ammo out. I was interested in seeing how high performance ammo would do out of the 2" barrel. Due to the short barrel I decided to focus on smaller grain bullets with high muzzle velocities in order to get reasonible expansion of hollow points. All data was collected using a chronograph approximately 4' from the barrel. Here are the results.

Win 185gr FMJ
Avg Velocity 778.95 fps
STD DEV 17.11
Energy 249.31 ft-lbs

Fed 165gr Hydra-shok JHP PD45HS3H
Avg Velocity 886.39 fps
STD DEV 27.96
Energy 287.93 ft-lbs

Rem 185gr Golden Saber JHP +P
Avg Velocity 1019.58 fps
STD DEV 18.49
