Gene,
Excellent look, the grips really set it off.

I really learned a lot from this refinishing venture. I learned that Bearcoat does a wonderful job. I'm very happy with the way the gun looks and feels, it's much smoother now when it's racked. They did the refinish, shipped it home and insured it for $257. Another thing I liked is that the gun was only gone six days including the Labor Day holiday. I learned that UPS sucks, I won't use them again. I learned that Tracker gives GREAT advice. Good call Tracker Most of all I learned, anew, just how great you guys are, and how much I like our forum.    Gene

The price and turn around time are both excellent.

Something I hadn't thought of 'til the gun got back, but I really like, the Colt has the three white dots for the sights. These didn't show up really well at all with the shiny stainless finish. With the new matte black finish they stand out wonderfully. Your target can be picked up quickly and easily. Just another little added bonus that I wasn't expecting. All in all I really like Bearcoat and will certainly use them again.     Gene
