Title: Grip removal
Post by: mefly2 on October 22, 2009, 01:54:30 PM
Here's a tip that works for me ... and I just shared it with Maria.  Rather than trying to pry or insert a non-flexible object between the grip panel and frame of your prized possession, try to use a bit of dental floss.  You will be amazed at how easily it will slide (or glide - if you use that product) between the panels and pistol frame.  Then just a small tug and you are separated ... without nicks or scratches!

Good idea.  I don't remove my grips, but should I ever need to, I'll use this method.  Thanks.

Brilliant!  That falls within the category of "why didn't I think of that?" I plan to use it on my P7 as well.

Thank you, Sir!

That is awesome!

I don't floss, too much bleeding, so I waterpik it.

But I will go out and buy some floss now to put on the bench.

Thanks!
