Sight question for Eric.
« on: September 17, 2017, 06:29:21 PM »
Hi Eric,

I am posting this here because others my wonder the same thing. Looking at one of the old price sheets I found the original MSRP was the same for guns with and without sights. Why weren't the ones with sights higher?

SOMEHOW I am thinking this was your brothers idea? :):):)  Thanks.

I believe it was actually more work for them to make them without sights. I think the cnc was set up to only make slides with sights and if a customer ordered a gun without sights they had to sand them off. Eric and confirm but this is what I seem to remember.

Dealer, on EITHER model is $950.00. MSRP on EITHER model is $1150 . Both the R9 and the .380 are priced this way and are the same price.

i guess a bit less recoil would be the only reason to own a .380. Ammo is a LOT higher and harder to find.

I bit less recoil is an understatement.  The R-380 shoots like a dream.  It is also way overbuilt for that round, and unlikely to have the problems the R9 can occasionally experience living on the edge...
