Unbelievable! 12 days into the season, and here we go again... Hurricane Warnings are up for Florida's west coast.
On the bright (well, pretty dark actually) side, this mess of rain is the first we have had in a long, long time.

I know you need the rain - but not in one big dump and without high winds. They did suggest tho this season might be another bad one.
I shall hope things pass without too much hassle, this time and any others. Must get scary at times. Report back when you can - with I hope news of easy survival! ;)

Good luck, Duane, and to the rest of you down there in Florida!

Well wishes for y'all in Florida, quit doing the rain dancing! :P

In the Tampa Bay Area we got a lot of rain, 25-30mph winds with some 50 mph gusts, and localized flooding, with a few spin-off tornadoes. Damage here was minimal.
This, of course, was just a warning shot over our bow.

I have been thinking the last few years that three
significant Florida coastal towns have been relatively
spared: Naples, Tampa. and Jacksonville.
It would be great if this madness would stop and
everyone could rest easy but it looks like it might be
awhile.
