Trying to ID a W. German push feed action.
« on: December 15, 2006, 12:52:19 PM »
The rifle was built by Bortmess of 84 PA.  Here are some photos, I need a new trigger for it.

Hello, this is Mike McIlvain again.  This is about the fourth account I have had to make, since for some reason the forum won't save my other usernames.  I try to log in and it say username does not exist.  Anyway, I had received a message that you had replied to my first one, but I was unable to acess it.  Sorry, I wasn't trying to blow you off.  if you could reply again, it would be great.  Hopefully it will work here now.  Otherwise my e-mail is mcilvain@hotmail.com

Thanks.

Great, thank you for the help.  I emailed them to see what type of information they had.
I'm fairly certain that it was built on a Voere action -- unfortunately, the current Voere company (now in Austria, rather than Germany) said they do not have a trigger that would fit.  There's another custom maker who used to use Voere actions, in Seguin, TX.  I'm going to see if he has any suggestions on what can be done to the trigger.
