Title: Miltec-1
Post by: BlueGrips on July 29, 2005, 02:09:11 AM
This stuff is amazing! I tried in on my other pistols with great great great results! Has anyone here used this stuff, yet?

For the Rohrbaugh R9, I have been using the recommended SuperLube oil. But I am not at all impressed with it.  ??? I am tempted to switch the Rohrbaugh over to this new oil.

Cheers!

I use both the grease and the oil.

I'm tempted to put Militec on the R9S barrel, and then apply Super Lube over that.  My pistol only has 12 rounds fired, so it is awaiting the first disassembly.

I forgot to mention one thing about Militec-1.

While putting the oil on my Glock G36, quite a bit got on the outside of the slide.

I came along with my wife's hair dryer and heated up the whole system, according to their recommendations.

Now the slide is very slick on the outside, and a little hard to rack.  It definitely takes extra man-power to overcome the unwanted effect.

Miltec is great stuff; it is used a lot by military units
and they also have a grease which I have but have not
used.
