Shelb:

Looks like a great design.  I also want to order one.  Please post ordering instructions when available.

Awesome Shelb!

We certainly have an EXCEPTIONAL crew here; appropriate to such and EXCEPTIONAL firearm.

Such quality, Shelb, might even be worthy of submission to the Brothers, R...  to have included on the website.

Shelb, it looks great. I and probably every other R9 owner will want one. I bet the Rohrbaugh brothers would be interested.

Seems like you could sell a maintenance "kit" with this takedown tool, chopstick punch, spare springs, etc., etc.

And...RJ and others could make the leather case for it.

I LIKE this idea of a sophisticated maintenance case of fine leather!  Grip screws, Loctite, and all the rest above as well.  Hmmmm, pretty sexy and in keeping with the "personality" of Rohrbaughs and it's owners.   ;D

Just one more voice to say great job and very nice Shelb.  This is the number one thing I'd like to have as an accessory and your design is thoughtful - I like that the punch hole protects the slide around it.

Just to let everyone know, I haven't abandoned efforts on this......just kinda put it on the back burner while I have been moving.  Should be getting my R9S back tomorrow, and will test and tweak the design a little more before I produce some.

The pressure!!

It's ok, sorry for dragging my feet.  An out of state move, new job, and trying to finish my thesis has me quite busy as of late.

I am considering a couple options with respect to the tool.  I can have a batch of 20 made via a rapid prototyping process for around $500.  A second option, which I am leaning toward is having a mold made.   It is a larger initial investment, but would allow me to sell them for much cheaper and meet demands larger than 20 parts.

Should have things in order by the end of this month.

Thanks for your patience!
