Title: Machine Marks?
Post by: fultoncoshooter on August 12, 2008, 11:23:19 PM
so i got my R9 and i love the gun its self very accurate and the recoil isnt as bad as i have heard other say.

My question to you guys is can you see CNC machine marks on your slide?

i can see the lines where the CNC machine made the cuts on my slide. With the cost of $1080 i expected a better finish on the pistol

Can you take/post pictures of the marks?  I had one that I noticed a machine line extending down from the front ramp sight.  It was not on the other two I had.

If I hold my pup just right and in the right light I can see very subtle marks from the machining process.....kind of like virtually imperceptible ghost-like 'flats'......left in there for strength, I think.   ;)

I guess since mine has spent almost 100% of the time I've owned it in my pocket or performing flawlessly at the range, I must have overlooked this 'flaw'.   8)
