This was taken from a post at the Seecamp Forum...Seems like a reputable website and post. Disturbing if true!

I read it.
I hope it's not true, but realistically , I had my doubts about its legitimacy from the get go. As the old saying goes, "trust, but verify."

I went to TruthorFiction.com which says this is false, however they provide a third set of figures, so....go figure!

Bill O'Reilly on Fox has donated millions and he had a guy on a couple of weeks ago giving numbers and percentages and it sounded fine to me.
I do not know who to believe.

I don't know, either, but given a choice I would support David Feherty's "Troops First Foundation" because I know he is the real deal.

In a private email Richard S stated that he was leary of any charitable organization that paid its leader 300K or more. I tend to agree.

It all depends on the percentage that flows to the valid recipients.

2012 Tax return from Troops First:

An examination of that tax return shows that Troops First is indeed "the real deal." And as John has noted, one of the first criteria I use to evaluate a so-called "non-profit" charity is the salary structure for its top executives. If I find such an organization is paying any of those individuals as much as $300,000 each a year and/or giving them substantial year-end bonuses, a red flag goes up in my mind.
