For those of you who are not familiar with the Seecamp--it's smaller than than the Rohrbaughs.

Deemed by Am. Rifleman as the best concealed carry.

I'd like to sell to a Rohrbaugher and get your reaction.

Don,
Many of the members on here have one or more of the LWS380 and several have all three calibers that Seecamp makes.
I had one of the 380s and sold it to fund another purchase, the recoil of the LWS380 to many is punishing and they won't own one. I found it to be tolerable but not fun to shoot.

Good luck with your sale.

Don.  Best of luck with your sale.  I like the Seecamps, and have one of each caliber, plus 2 additional NIB .380's; as said, I like 'em; of course, have a couple Rohrbaughs as well.  Again, wishing you the best with your sale.

Thanks for the feedback.

The unfriendly behavior of the 380 is EXactly why I'm selling it.

I have 3 S&Ws, a Springfield, a Beretta, as well as the Seecamp.

I enjoy shooting all the others but the SC.

Have you guys fired the new S&W Bodyguard 380?
GREAT little fellow, quite accurate and I love the built in laser.

I also have one of the Smith 380 BG.  I agree with your opinion that it is a very good gun.  I have been carrying a Kahr P380 this summer and shooting it quite a bit, so the Smith trigger takes a little getting used to.  With the laser it is a good value at the $430 to $450 range I have seen them in.  My only complaint is that the chamber is not fully supported and I am a reloader.  The practice load I use in the Kahr which is super accurate in both guns is way too hot in the Smith and bulged the cases.  It is the max load of Universal Clays  out of the Speer manual.  Otherwise I am pleased also.

I don't think anyone has ever purchased a Seecamp 380 because he wanted a fun gun to take the the target range.
You buy a Seecamp, test fire it, and then put in your pocket and pray you never "have" to use it as it was intended to be used.

Of course what is "fun" or "punishing" is subjective and can only be decided by the person pulling the trigger.

Good luck with the sale Zeilstra.

Curt

I guess everyone has there own idea of what is fun to shoot, I enjoy shooting my pup. I don't use it as a range gun because thats not what it was designed for, not because I find it unpleasant to shoot. :D

I like shooting the R9 and the Seecamp .380; so it's all in what one likes, definitely!

True statement.

There are a lot of people who think the R9 is brutal to shoot.
If you're used to shooting a Glock 19 or a 1911, it most definitely is.
Me, I'll just keep my Seecamp in my pocket where it belongs and take one of my target pistols to the target range. :)
