DDGator update
« on: August 25, 2019, 09:29:45 PM »

Sorry for being absent for a while, guys...  My wife had a heart attack and stroke on August 5.  She was in cardiac critical care for two weeks and just came home a few days ago.  Things were very touch and go for a long time.  That being said, she finally seems to be on the road to a strong recovery in due time.

My attention to everything else has been minimal, so please pardon any lack of response on my part.  Things will get back to normal eventually.

We just went through something similar, now doing better.  I wish you and your wife better times now.  Welcome back!

A speedy recovery!!!

Thanks, all.  My wife is 49 years old and has youth on her side.  We expect a full recovery, but it is going to take some time.  Lots of doctors, tests, and rehab appointments incoming.

It was a very scary few weeks, and we are grateful that our story continues...

Awfully young for all that to happen? Age will definitely be on her side.

She was in good health, with no history of cardiac issues.   She does, however, have a strong family history of heart issues.

Glad to hear everything is ok and no need to ever apologize about a family issue. The forum is trivial compared to health.
