Magazine Extensions

Anypne have any feedback as which is more comfortable the  Aluminum hooked mag extensions or the flat ones??? Also does it add much weight??? tx Dan

I have the hooked extension and like it very much. There is no
felt weight added but seems to be better weight balanced than
not having it.

Had the hooked ones, they felt great, no detectable weight increase. The down side, at least for me, is they made it much harder to conceal, and I prefer to not become used to the extra support they provide when practicing. Just my opinion.

I guess when I spoke to Karl at the factory this is one of the reasons he does not offer them, probably ok for a spare magazine...Dan

I would not like to be without the hooked extension. It has
become an integral part of my daily carry and in the pocket
does not add any compromise to the concealment factor.

The downside is that the ones from IDM are not presently
available.
