I may have to break down and order that Hedley back pocket holster.

It's looking good.

The cool thing about this IWB holster is that it can also be used as a crossdraw holster. And as a bonus, I noticed that I can also switch the J hooks to the back and use it as a OWB holster, too! This is a very adaptable holster! I love it!

Michigunner: RJ's classic back pocket holster is a must have. It works very well. I figure if I'd spent $1K for a gun, I would go and spent a few more bucks for a quality holster, or two, or three!

Cheers

When the R9S finally gets here, that will be the next choice.

First, we need to see how big the R9 feels in the back pocket.

Great pictures.

Since K&D has stopped making holsters for the R9, I can also recommend my IWB favorite, the Alessi Talon Plus.  I have one for my S&W J Frame and my Glock 26.  Last weekend, one for the R9 arrived.  It took about 14 weeks to get my order, which I placed immediately after ordering my R9.  That said, however, for a front pocket holster, RJ's New Style LE can't be beat.  It arrived some time ago and all I can say is "WOW".  In the past, I have always favored rear pocket holsters with an anti-print panel for front pocket carry.  RJ's New Style LE however, functions very nicely without a panel, at least when tested with a NAA Guardian.  So, I have 2 fine holsters, both waiting on my R9 order.

Just to rub it in more now that K&D has stopped making this product. Here's is the same holster that can be used as IWB, OWB, right hand, or left hand...just by simply flipping the J-Hooks around. What is not pictured is that you also have 3 verticle adjustments to move it up or down the waistline if you wish:

Cuteo100 -- if that is you in the photos, you need to eat more!  You make that little gun look like a G17!

And yes -- it is a very nice holster.  Although I don't have one because I don't carry the R-9 IWB, I have played around with Kevin's prototypes.

Hahaha. I'll take that as a complement, Duane. Wait until you see pictures of me wearing my HK USP Tactical 45! That is a sight to behold!

Cheers!

Cuteo - great pic series ... and sure, that is one mega versatile rig!!  Contrary to Duane's suggestion - don't eat more - stay trim!!!

Let me thow in a bit more - viz, here is my step-daughter Beth sporting my R9s in another of Kevin's earlier creations.  A very nice belt-slide, with two options for belt position on front slots.

This means that whilst I personally use it strong side with upper slot so as to give max cant, see same in pic #2 below - it is also viable to be worn using lower front slot as per pic #1 in a cross-draw mode.  As most know I never use (or have gotten on with) IWB.

Oops - got pic numbering back-to-front.  Corrected!!

Nice holster and I like the many wearing options - you remind me that I need to start my diet.

Chris,
Your step-daughter is beautiful Chris.  She won't have to worry about anything wearing that setup.

Chris:

Your step-daughter is certainly a beautiful young lady!  Now I understand why you posted those ten rules back in March. http://www.rohrbaughforum.com/YaBB.cgi?board=Water;action=display;num=1109904981    :)

Meant to ask - what is the folder in your right pocket - it has a very large clip by look of it.
