Leather Art
« on: August 27, 2005, 07:29:42 PM »
As some of you may know, I do a variety of leather craft items in addition to the holsters.  I've recently taken classes on how to do my own matting/framing.  My hope is to put together pictures that are tooled onto the leather and then do the matting/framing all in one shop.  Here's my first attempt at such an endeavor:

It's a bit difficult from the distance of the camera to get more detail of the eagle itself.  I guess I ought to have sent it to R9SCarry and let him take a few pics for me.  ;D

Nice Kevin - real nice.

I'd happily ''look after it for you'' - and take some more pics as well ;D.

Wow Kevin,
That is a beauty! I really like the frame and Mat that you put the art in. It's the perfect combination of elements. Great Job.

Thanks for kind words, everyone.

As I've showed it around here locally, it's generated a lot of interest and subsequent orders.

Brendan - were you interested in an animal type of picture or something more along the lines of a scenery?
