New competition for sliced bread
« on: July 22, 2017, 05:51:50 PM »
ALMOST everyone has a Ruger 10/22. I had mine threaded and mounted a scope. The trigger has always been a sore spot, SIX+ POUNDS. I saw the new Ruger BX trigger group advertised and checked it out. It was only $79.00 from Ruger, others go up to $250.

The You-Tube video looks simple enough but it isn't. It's easier. I stripped and cleaned the rifle waiting for the new trigger to arrive. Hell it took longer to open the package than install the new one.

It was the best $79 I EVER spent. It is worth 4-5 times that but why pay more when factory parterre so cheap. If you have one het it, don't even need tools. The video says to use a punch set. You don't need it. I used a allen wrench set and the 1/16th with a few taps of the hammer.
