Wildey's Here!
« on: September 29, 2017, 05:36:11 PM »
Well here is another one that I thought was dead.

USA Firearm started shipping new Wildeys in July.  I got mine at the end of August and have had it to the range once.

The fit and finish is outstanding inside and out on the new guns.  It shot fine and my only complaint is the spongy trigger but that has always been a problem with Wildeys.  It is a 12" model chambered for 475 Wildey Magnum.

Here are a couple pics.  The lower one is with one of my Auto Mags.

Maybe the R9 is not dead for good.  It has taken a lot more time and money to get the Wildeys and Auto Mags back in production than it would to start up the R9 line.

Awesome, Bronson!

I put 30 rounds through it and chronographed the last three to see where it was at.  It was loaded with 230 grain FMJ's:

  -1689 fps, 1765 fps, 1745 fps

that yields 1550+ ft-lbs of energy.  That should knock the 'Giggler' down.
