Nobody here but us chickens!  Quiet on the forum...everyone just worn out with the subjects I guess.  My R9's are too boring to discuss...fire and eject everytime with most any premium ammo if I do my job.  Too busy trying to sell my house and move to go to the range.

Having been stuck on JW Black for many years even after trying many single malts I tasted one recently that could change my channel but I will look for Dimple Pinch. The 15 year Nikka Yoichi single malt from Hokkaido is so good it will love you back.

Try Abelour 16, a wonderful single malt.  I'll look for the Dimple Pinch.  My only experience with Japanese "scotch" (whiskey) was not a good one some years back...may be better now.  I'll look out for it.  I must admit however that I am a smoke head, ie: love the Islay's, full of peat smoke, seaweed, iodine on a cold night by the fire.

I'm sitting in this hospital room watching my wife recover and just checked in on the Forum while she is napping.  In response to John's mention of old English sports cars, permit me to resurrect photographs of two that were important in my now increasingly distant past -- a 1954 Triumph TR2 that got me through college and law school and a 1963 Sunbeam Alpine GT Series III I drove during my Army days on a tour in southern Germany.  The latter was supposed to have been a Triumph TR4, but the Triumph was damaged on delivery in Stuttgart and the Alpine was in the showroom  ready to roll.

I'am more of a MakersMark man, but I do like Scotch every so often. I do like british cars, I own a 1974 Lotus Europa Twin Cam and a 1995 Lotus Esprit S4s. When I am out and about I always have my Rohrbaugh 9S with me. Stay Fast and Stay Armed. :)

Nice cars, Richard.

I have always loved, and only recently obtained, a BMW.  I've since done the BMW M-School and I am fully addicted to these amazing cars.  I am in the early stages of planning a trip to Munich to pick up the next one in the summer of 2016.

Here is a short video of my experience picking up my 2013 328i Sport-line in Greenville, South Carolina:

Very nice and well done, Duane; also a very wise decision to purchase a BMW in the 100th anniversary year.

Richard,
I always loved the TR2 and 3, but rode only with friends.  I never drove a Sunbeam, but had a friend who loved his Tiger.  I drove a big Healey ('67 3000) through Europe when stationed there and wish I had it still.  Then went to a Jag 150S roadster for a while (now a show car owned by a friend) and then to E-types...wish I had kept them all.  Ahh, the memories of youth do sustain us on rainy dark days.  Our best to Joyce in her recovery.

Duane, nice catch.  Had a 2002 BMW also when in Germany...4 cylinders but cruised at 100+ mph on the autobahn and was extremely stable at those speeds.  German cars are generally too complicated for my aged psyche now, altho I do value my everyday drive, an older Porsche Boxter.

Verdugoman, envy you your "Loti", noisy, small, quick, fast and mean little buggers...more fun to drive than almost anything and just the right size for an R9.  Keep the shiny side up!

I've got a Lotus Elise.  Lots of fun in a little package and a blast on the track or a windy road.  I can't stop tinkering with it though.  There is always another upgrade and something to make it a pound lighter.  I think i'm sub 1800 pounds now with the new exhaust.  I've owned a lot of sports cars and this is in a different class.

I always wanted an Esprit V8.
