Rohrbaugh R9 No. 132 after 17 years of EDC
« on: July 07, 2019, 04:40:23 PM »

Seventeen years and counting with no vices yet shown.  The only service No. 132 has received other than careful cleaning after each range session is a change of recoil springs.  Admittedly, no other firearm in my collection has received more TLC than this classic “pocket rocket.”  What a jewel it has been!  After feeding it Golden Saber BJHP 147-gr. fodder early in its service, I now carry it with 124-gr. Speer Gold  Dot JHP ammo.

Gun-leather by the late and great R. J. Hedley (Awarded the Bronze Star during combat in Korea).  Lord knows he is sorely missed.  (Rest in peace, RJ, my dear friend.)

Very Nice Richard.

Best wishes for another 17 years of problem free service.

Ole' 132 looks as nice today as when we built it all those years ago. Part of that, I'm sure, is the fact that Mr. Spradlin has taken good stewardship of this pistol. I am honored that you still have it Richard. I truly hope everything is well by you today good Sir.

We need to hold conversation soon. . . . . . . . . Be well my friend.

He's Baaaaack!!
Having a gun in your hand is much more effective than having the entire police department on the phone!
