Cuteo, Welcome to the forum. Some guys just turn up roses. Have fun shooting and let us have a range report. Try the Speer gold dot 115 gr or 124 gr ammo. Now you need to get a holster for your new pup.    Tom

Cuteo - oh my, that was a sneeky and fruitful find!!  I'll wager there are one or two folks here who might be feeling a bit miffed!  :P

Congrats tho on getting your pup so easily and welcome to the board - you should find with a bit of digging, lots of info that might rapidly expand your knowledge on the gun.

Stick around and let's have some feedback later.

Umm there are 3 listed on Guns America ????

Why is everyone waiting when you can order them from there?  I just dont understand?

I am REALLY considering buying one of these, I just cant believe these are the same size as a Kel-Tec...  Amazing, why wouldn't everyone want a 9 mm in that size instead of .380 or 32

What is the realistic range of this pistol?

>>Hi JYogi...

Welcome to you as well here on the Rohrbaugh Forum...!...sit back and enjoy the fun and please share your experiences with the R9 with the rest of us here...when you decide to buy off Guns America.  I would be curious too as how your buy goes from there and what it ends up costing you...?

Regarding the effective range of the R9...  One of the earlier gun mag reviews of this pup stated it was accurate out to at least 25 yards with the correct ammo...this is obviously the sighted version of the R9.  Quite honestly, in all my shooting with the R9 I have tried it beyond 15 yards...but it worked fine at that distance - probably best I can do with it is a  4" group at that range.  But fact is the R9 was developed as a "belly gun" for short range defense...so most of my shooting is at the 2 to 10 yard range...and it is very effective when used there...even if you don't have sights (I have two R9s...one with, the other without sights).

We look forward to your contributions here at the Rorhbaugh Forum...!!

I have bought quite a few handguns off GunsAmerica with 0 problems.
The most important thing is to check the feedback of the seller and how long they have been on the board.

I very well may just end up getting the R9 from a local dealer whose supposed to have a couple coming at the end of the month.  Just gotta try and scrape down 1/2 this weekend as a deposit for him.

Ummm anyone here looking for a Trijicon Reflex?  A Beretta 96?  Let me know.
