Which Glock?

>>I have Glocks 17, 19, 23, 26, and 30.  Of them all, I like and shoot the 26 the best.  Thing about the 26 is - you can use mags for the 17 and 19 with skirts to get 15 and 17 + rounds, and it still conceals like the 26 - at least with the 19 mag.  I also shoot the 30 well.  I find it kinda odd I shoot the sub compacts so well given my bulky hands - but it's true...TW<<

Yup, that's pretty odd. Really.

Jim,
I've owned (and sold most) every Glock except the long slide models and the .357 sig models.  The .45's except for the 36 are too big for my hands.  But I couldn't shoot the 36 as well as the 9mm and 40.  My new favorite is the model 38 in .45 GAP.  I think the size of the 19, 23, and 38 is just about perfect.  My wife has a 19 and likes it alot.  I also like the "baby" Glocks.  I'm toying with the idea of picking up a 39 in .45 GAP.
Jeff

don't know much about the .45 gap but there was some
adverserial press in some magazines early on; haven't heard
much since.

In a nutshell, it is a cartridge that duplicates the performance of the .45 ACP except in a smaller package.

In times of crises and impending ammo shortage it may be
wise to stick with common, cheap, and readily available
calibers like the 9 mm. and the 45 acp.

I am concerned that the 45 GAP will not make it.

A large stock of 9mm, 45 ACP, and .223 Remington meets my needs.  The more common it is, the better.

Thanks for your help fellows,
I ended up buying the 23 in 40cal.  I really like it..  The compact 23 is easier for me to shoot tha the sub compact 27..  Gosh, its nice having a weapon that goes "BANG" everytime you pull the trigger!!!  Thanks again, Jim

>>When I took a CCW course some years back the primary instructor suggested the G23 to be the best all around gun for concealed carry purposes.  I had a nice G23 a couple years ago but swapped it for a G19 just because I'm more of a 9mm guy.

Now that you have your CCW gun - get to know it inside out and it will serve you well, as needed and desired.  You have made a GREAT choice with the G23...!...TW<<
