Amen! I also collect snake guns. Not long ago there was a 3" Python, stainless, LNIB. It sold for THIRTY ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For 31K it better have a steering wheel. :o :o :o
The 'hot' models are as good as gold but your shooters will always be just that. I bought 4 Star 8+1 round 9mm's at $229 each. FANTASTIC gun, it's a Colt Commander replica type but will never be worth more than the shooter price. I THINK the snake guns have hit the top. I am not buying but may sell if the time comes.
