 Remington built alot of 1911's for the war. It is nice seeing them Bringing an example of what they built back. Nice tribute.

Now that appears to be a great platform at a very reasonable price -- either for use right out of the box or as the foundation for a little of that "customizing magic" some of our more talented 1911 pistolsmiths are offering these days.

[Note to self: Step away from the checkbook. You don't need another 1911.   :-/ ]
