I think Bob Cogan at APW did the smithing work on it.  Checkered front and back and drilled out a site dot before they hard chromed it.

I'm intrigued by the checkering on the front strap and backstrap.  Did that version come stock with the checkering, or was that something the owner added later?

Just picked this up Gunbroker.  It wasn't listed as anything special but it was.  This was the description

"Up for auction is an excellent condition Rohrbaugh R9 in the factory box with spare magazine.  This firearm has been fired."

All true but it's a custom that I'm 99% sure Bob Cogan at APW checkered, site dotted and hard chromed.  It's a BEAUTIFUL R9!!!  I added the black CF grips. 

Love these guns!

Yes, that is a Stealth R380. I'm not certain how many we made of those although I can say not too many. They shoot like a .25 acp. I liked those pistols.
