First Shot
« on: July 21, 2011, 10:04:27 PM »
Haven't fired my R9S in 2 months.  Went to the range today.  First shot at 7 yards was a bulls eye.

That's helps in boosting the confidence of the R9!!

Love that R9S!  Thanks for the kind comments.  I fired 50 rounds, only 1 FTE when she was hot.   Had fired it in total around 160 rounds and still haven't cleaned it yet.  I will very very soon.
Just a great gun.

Make sure you keep them grip screws tight. Mine would have backed out by that time.

TBI,

Very good shooting indeed! I am impressed with the round count without cleaning. I was chicken and cleaned my after 97 rounds. Mine is EDC so I did not want to push it too far.
I have seen posts about the grip screws loosening. Without digging out my manual from the safe. What is the best/proper tool for the grips? That looks like one heck of a small Allen head if that is what it is.
 Thanks,
