Thanks, a good article.

I still think that if a man buys the highest quality gun that he can afford, in the largest caliber that he can shoot accurately and with speed and loads it with the ammunition with the best terminal ballistics, he is giving himself an advantage and the confidence to use it.

That is a very informative article by a very knowledgeable author.

With all of the on-going debates about this caliber and that, and that bullet weight and this, it is easy to forget that in the early and mid-20th century, many European police and military units were issued and successfully employed handguns chambered for the .32 ACP (7.65×17mm Browning) cartridge. Although I tend to follow the "bigger rock" school of thought, I believe even more firmly in the concept of "placement, placement, placement."
