Adam.  Your Tribute should be here.  Any word or do you have it?

I called a week or two ago.
The silver frames came in and Karl was not happy with the finish.
They were sent back to be refinished.
It should not be long now.

It seems like the silver frames have always been difficult. Worth the extra effort though IMHO.

I know this doesnt mean much but it seems to differ from the post Duane did during Shot Show 2012 where he announced

"Rohrbaugh Custom Shop

Maybe the best news for some of you.  Rohrbaugh is going to start offering custom "one off" R-9s to your specs.  A couple examples are shown below. More details on these two later--both are for sale."

http://www.rohrbaughforum.com/index.php?topic=5955.0

I'll take one Tribue with "custom" Rohrbaugh crest on the grips please......

I noticed None of the VZ grips in the pictures have crest.
I will continue to ask. We may get somewhere?

Well, I've pulled the plug on the Tribute; I really got to thinking and am happy with the Robar and the other two.  The silver frame is nice, for sure.  I may would rethink it if the crest could be offered.  I was ready to place the order until....................

I hope Karl changes his mind.

I am sure they would be a good seller.

I have been going back and forth with my Tribute order as well. I would speculate that most potential Tribute customers already have multiple pups so it really has to be something special to get added to the kennel. A crest on the grips would certainly sweeten the deal. I have a little while until the SN I wanted will be available so hopefully things will work out.

I was really interested in getting a silver framed one there for a while, however, if you can't get it the way you want it, I'm just going to enjoy what I have.  I will keep pursuing the task, though.

Ken I agree 100%

The crest is not a deal breaker for me, it would be a nice touch though.
