Just wondering, what's the price on the Special Forces model and what is the difference in the R9s?

Thanks!

The R9s Special Forces is all black, including the mags. It is finished by Bill Wilson Combat's Armor Tuff black finish. go to the following
http://www.rohrbaughforum.com/YaBB.cgi?board=R9S;action=display;num=1232145455  this shows both the info and pictures.  $1795   Tom

It's at my armorer as I am having a bit of checkering done on it. As soon as I get it back I will post pics.

Checkering????? Now it will have to be refinished and that armor tuff coating will be gone.  Sounds like you should have started out with a plain Jane model and saved $700.  Am I missing somthing?

A "plain Jane" R9? Why that's like a "utility" Ferrari -- there just ain't no such thing.   ;)

I hope the finish wasn't $700 as it was already rubbing off on the front strap from the holster.  I have had him "color" several of my guns and it don't come off once he's done.

Thanks

I don't know what the finish cost but I do know those cost $1795 compaired to the basic $1095.  If the finish was coming off already I would think Rohrbaugh would want to know of that because that gun is labeled as cream of the crop and in my mind would be COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for the finish to be wearing in the first few days of use unless your holster is made of sandpaper.
