Did someone say ''girls'' - and ''mudholes'' .......  :o :o ;D

A thought TW re what we carry - my wife invariably has to nag me to change my pants - shorts right now of course.  I do tend to '';push 'em'' a bit long.  Why?

Because the changeover from old pair to clean pair is a tedious ritual - empty all pockets of old pair - remove belt thus freeing holster and leatherman.  Once all that is done - repeat but in reverse . ... and becoming as I age a total lazya$$ - I do it with some reluctance! :D

I doubt tho I carry quite your ''burden''. LOL!

Oh and back to girls and mudholes ............

All my faded jeans have leather stains, clean ones look dirty,   so I say why bother !  ;D

I truly identify with that.  It takes about five minutes to change out the pockets and re-equip the belt.  I won't go into what I usually carry (it's probably right up there with TW's stuff).  My wife makes fun of me -- until, of course, those times when she needs a flashlight to find some keys she has dropped in the dark . . . or a knife to cut the tape on a package she has ordered . . . or a cellular telephone to call our daughter . . . or a pair of pliers to open a bottle of nail polish which has dried shut . . . etc., etc., etc. And of course, she always expects me to have a pistol with me.

Bless 'em, you gotta love 'em!

Richard, RJ, TW and others - welcome to the ''can't live with 'em - can't live without 'em'' ------ ''damned if you do - damned if you don't'' .. CLUB!! ;D ;D

Gotta love 'em that's for sure. :)

Just checked my current ''tally'' - belt with rig, SIG and Wave other side.

Pants front left outer - E1e flashlight.  Pants front left main - Buck folder clipped in, one spare key, mini pocket knife (one of those dealies just great for nail crud removal!) and lighter.

Front right outer - main keys (there is another set even bigger that stay elsewhere to go with truck!), front right main - loose change mostly (often the odd 22 or 9mm!).

Rear left - wallet - way too full with plastic crap and stuff.  Rear right - just a comb and pipe baccy.

I'll bet that is a ''light load'' by sound of TW's ''equipment'' LOL.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Darn... almost forgot - when R9 is on board then loose change is pitched in with keys on right and pup has all of right main to itself. :)
Well it's nice to know that I'm not alone. The absolute Minimum I have to have to leave the house ;
left front, surefire E2D2, ID with money clip
Left rear,  Wallet
Right rear, NAA Guardian .380 or Seecamp .32 in back pocket holster.
Right front, Benchmade Whirlwind or Benchmade Mel Pardue tanto folder.  Saving room for the R-9 that is coming.
over left rear hip, Leatherman, Small mace spray in pouch.
Over right rear hip, USP compact 9mm/ Sig 228/ Glock27 .40
next to primary carry, extra mag
Left side, cell phone.
Photon micro light around my neck.
I just stuff the keys into my waist band over my left front pocket.
Every time I go out my wife looks at me and say's " Are you sure you didn't forget something? "And I start to feel self conscious until I remember Jeff Cooper saying " you can't make an appointment to have an emergency", and then I feel better.
And she uses the leatherman more than I do!!! You just can't win.
Shucks - I almost feel I travel light!! :D
I forgot to mention with my list of gear - of course this time of year when out - bike or not - my cover is the Smith & Alexander vest.  This takes care of cell phone left front - and right front is where NAA mini resides!!
There is a small inside pocket on left and if I feel that I do not want bulk of wallet, then billfold and ID can live there.  Upper left front on the vest is variable - often pipe and baccy but also suits nicely for R9 spare mag sometimes.
So for me - the pants ain't all the story!
Tom,
     Still looking forward to those picture's of the Girls and Mudholes! And, so is RJ!
     I need more pockets in the summer. It is much easier when it gets colder and I wear more layers.
Mike:
Given my "double-secret probation" status, this represents about the only type of photo of females in mudholes which I am allowed to view these days:
And now, back on topic before the Administrator gives me the axe, I advocate carrying a second magazine for any semi-automatic handgun you have with you at any given time.   :)
Mike:
Good idea, Mike, but it looks like we're too late.  When I "Googled" old Doug I got this result:  "Doug Neidermeyer - Killed by his own troops in Vietnam."
